Thailand's PTTGC to delay maintenance of No. 1 cracker and HDPE plant

According to official statement from PTT Global Chemical (PTTGC), the scheduled turnaround of its No. 1 cracker and No. 1 HDPE plant is being postponed further to Q4 2018.

Based in Map Ta Phut, Thailand, the cracker is able to produce 460,000 tons/year of ethylene and 125,000 tons/year of propylene, meanwhile the No. 1 HDPE plant has a production capacity of 250,000 tons/year. The initial shutdown schedule of the cracker was during end of the month and HDPE plant during November 2017.
