Thailand's PTTGC to shut No. 1 cracker for maintenance
According to market sources, PTT Global Chemical (PTTGC) is planning to shut its No. 1 cracker for a scheduled turnaround by end of August 2017.
Based in Map Ta Phut, Thailand, the cracker is able to produce 460,000 tons/year of ethylene and 125,000 tons/year of propylene. It is expected to remain off-stream for about 2-3 weeks.
