Qatar's PE offers journey north in China

A Qatari producer implemented price hike to China by $30/ton for LLDPE C4 film to reach $1140/ton and $25/ton increased for LDPE film to reach $1185/ton as compared to last month, all based on CFR China, LC AS term.

A trader informed, “Our supplier informed that they are facing some production issues for LDPE causing delayed of shipment for a month, with limited overall supply continue to support price to stay firm. We are expecting for firm outlook in the near term, perhaps overall situation might be better in fourth quarter with the expectation of better demand for traditional festive seasons.”
