Thai major lifted PE offers to China

A major maker from Thailand has announced fresh weekly PE offers to China today with and increased of $15/ton for HDPE film and yarn compared to last month to reach $1155/ton and $1165/ton respectively, meanwhile PE100 (Black) at $1195/ton, LDPE film and heavy duty at $1220/ton and $1240/ton respectively, LLDPE C4 film at $1220/ton and metallocene at $1215/ton, all on a CFR China, LC AS term, for shipment of mid to end of September.

A trader commented, “Our supplier offered firm stance without any discount due to limited supply availability due to scheduled turnaround, however we are expecting resistance from our customers with current high price level, but recent low inventory pressure might support import price trend to stay firm in the near term.”
