Local PP, PE prices surge further in Indonesia on healthy buying interest

Sentiment in local Indonesia market continue to improve as converters prepare inventories before entering the traditional high demand season, yet supply is tightening due to production disruption at domestic plants. As a result, a major local producer lifted PP and PE prices considerably on the first trading day of the week.  

The producer’s latest price list is shown in the following table:

There have not been any deals reported at the latest price list at the time this report is published; however sellers are rather confident with a source said, “We have been selling above price list since last week and our customers are still placing inquiries, hence we think there might not be much issues concluding deals this week.”
