Malaysian maker announced August PP, PE offers to Indonesia

A major Malaysian producer reportedly lifted August shipment offers for PP to Indonesia by $10-20/ton from last month while maintain PE prices unchanged. The decision came as demand for PE in Indonesia hold soft and local traders are offering at very competitive levels. “In contrast, other Southeast Asian suppliers have already concluded import homo-PP cargoes above the $1100/ton threshold, from which Malaysian producer might not offer too large discount on their parcels,” a buyer commented.
