Taiwan's Formosa to shut No. 3 cracker for turnaround
According to market sources, Formosa Plastics Corporation (FPC) is planning to shut its No. 3 naphtha-fed steam cracker starting 15 August 2017 for a scheduled maintenance.
Based in Mailiao, Taiwan, the cracker has a production capacity of 1.2 million tons/year. It is expected to remain off-stream for 40 days.
