Indian players: Taiwanese major sold out PVC allocation

Several days after announcing fresh PVC offers for July shipment with rollover from last month at $930/ton CIF India, LC AS term; buyers in the country reported that the maker has completely sold out available allocation with only $10/ton discount on volume buy.

There are market talks that Taiwanese major sold out about 17,000 tons quantity to India this month and most are taken by trading house after careful evaluation. “Demand from converter side is not very strong as buyers generally taking very cautious stance ahead of the implementation of the GST. Sales at our side have been slow,” a trader said.
