Singaporean major slashed PP, LDPE offers to Indonesia

According to Indonesian buyers, a major Singaporean producer has announced fresh PP and LDPE offers for July shipment to the country with reduction from last month. The maker reportedly cut LDPE prices by $40/ton, bringing latest offers to $1320/ton for LDPE film, $1380/ton for LDPE injection and $1390/ton for LDPE coating, all based on CIF Indonesia, LC AS term.

Besides, July shipment offers for homo-PP indicated $40/ton drop from June to reach $1090/ton while PP block copolymer only witness $20/ton decreased to $1190/ton, CIF Indonesia, LC AS term.

A distributor offered on behalf of the producer informed, “Our principal producer open fresh prices to Indonesia earlier due to the upcoming holidays. Other market in the region would only receive new offers by end of this week. Demand is not very strong, and therefore, we are monitoring market respond for now.”
