Pipe leak caused fire at Indonesia's Chandra Asri plant

According to media report, a fire broke out at Chandra Asri Petrochemical plant late Saturday, 10 June 2017 as a result of a pipe leak at the furnace 101. The fire was put out within 15 minutes and there is not casualty reported.

A company’s spoke person said that the plant still operates as usual despite the burnt furnace. No other details on the impact on the downstream PP and PE reported at the time this report is published.
