China's Shenhua Ningxia to startup Phase II coal-based PP, PE plants

According to market sources, Shenhua Ningxia Coal Industry Group is planning to start commercial production for its new PP and PE plants (Phase II) by beginning of July.

Based in Ningxia, China, the Phase II plants comprises of 2 PP units with total production capacity of 600,000 tons/year and a 450,000 tons/year PE unit. All plants are expected to start production by 20 June 2017 and if everything goes smooth, on-spec cargoes are expected to be achieved by beginning of July. In addition, the company has planned to have 45 days turnaround starting 1 August 2017.
