Thailand's IRPC to launch new PP unit next month

Market sources reported that Integrated Refinery and Petrochemical Complex (IRPC) is planning to startup its new PP plant by end of July 2017.

Based in Map Ta Phut, Thailand, the expansion project is designed to increase the company’s polypropylene (PP) production by 63% or 300,000 tons from current capacity, to reach 775,000 tons. With this, IRPC become the largest PP maker in Thailand and the second largest in Southeast Asia.
