Another Southeast Asian producer cut PP, LDPE prices to regional market

According to market sources, another major Southeast Asian producer has announced June shipment offers for PP and LDPE with reduction from last month. In fact, the maker implemented $40/ton cut on LDPE cargoes while decreasing PP prices by $30/ton for homo-PP and $50/ton for copolymer grades.

Following table showed the producer’s latest price list to each market within the region. 

Initial respond from regional buyers is that most are expecting further reduction, especially on LDPE cargoes amid weak demand in China and falling upstream costs. Hence, many decided to side-line to monitor further development before making decision.
