Taiwanese major rollover PVC offers for June shipment

According to market sources, a major Taiwanese producer has announced fresh PVC offers for June shipment to regional market at rollover from last month. Which means, latest offers stand at $930/ton to India and $870/ton to China and Southeast Asia, all based on CIF/CFR, LC AS term. There are also discount scheme available for volume buyers, ranging $5-10/ton.

While initial respond from China and Southeast Asia is not very positive; Indian buyers are seeing not much issue for the producer to sell off the allocation this month. An Indian distributor said, “This is because the maker only allocate 60 per cent of the regular quantity to India this month, and we think buyers would accept the cargoes. However, we are still monitoring market movement.”
