Thailand's PTT maintenance schedule in 2017

According to market sources, PTT Global Chemical (PTTGC) has planned several maintenance shutdowns at its petrochemical complex in Map Ta Phut, Thailand for the year 2017.

Initial schedule called for a 26 days shutdown at the company’s 400,000 tons/year LLDPE unit, starting beginning of June. All HDPE lines with total production of 850,000 tons/year will also be taken off stream in batches, first round during end of May and second round by mid July, both for 15 days.

The company is also planning maintenance work at its 300,000 tons/year LDPE unit during September this year, though it is still unsure on the duration. CommoPlast would continue to provide update on the topic.
