Thai major cut PP prices to Indonesia, maintaining HDPE

According to market sources, a major Thailand producer opened fresh weekly offers to Indonesia with $10-20/ton reduction for PP from last week while maintaining HDPE prices steady. The producer’s latest price list is shown in the following table:

Buying interest among Indonesian buyers is still relatively weak with the fasting month just around the corner. Many converters are portraying less confident in the near term outlook, in which most prefer to source materials from local suppliers at more competitive prices.
