India's MRPL to shut Phase-3 unit for turnaround

According to market sources, Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Ltd (MRPL) is planning for a scheduled maintenance for its Phase-3 units starting 15 April 2017.

Located in Kartanaka, South India, the company has a 2.2 million tons/year petrochemical fluidised catalytic cracking unit (PFCCU) and a 440,000 tons/year PP plant. Both plants are expected to remain off-stream for about 25-30 days.
