Thai maker rollover PP, PE offers to Indonesia

Market sources reported that a major Thailand producer has announced fresh weekly PP and HDPE prices to Indonesia at unchanged levels from previous week despite soft demand in local ground due to Songkran Festival. The maker’s latest price list is shown in the following table:

Buyers in the country has not responded very positively toward the latest offers, especially on homo-PP grade as local producers become aggressive these recently in pushing cargoes out at very competitive levels compared to import material. “We expect at least $60/ton reduction from price list for homo-PP on deals as domestic materials are sold at similar level at the moment,” a buyer commented.
