Taiwan's CPC restarted No. 6 naphtha cracker

According to market sources, CPC Corporation has restarted its No. 6 naphtha-fed steam cracker since 10 April 2017 after a scheduled turnaround.

Based in Linyuan, Taiwan, the cracker has an ethylene production capacity of 720,000 tons/year and propylene production capacity of 430,000 tons/year. It has been shut since 17 February 2017 and the plant is aiming to achieve full production rate by today.
