South Korean maker lifted homo-PP prices to Vietnam

According to market sources, a major South Korean producer has lifted homo-PP offers to Vietnam by $40/ton compared to late March, reaching $1150/ton CIF Vietnam, LC AS term. This cargo is exempted from import duties.

Buyers are not surprised by the price adjustment as couple of other international suppliers have implement hike to the country. “Buyers have yet to accept the price increment, however, we plan to hold firm on our cargoes as market is set to continue moving higher in the near term,” a source close to the maker commented.
