Taiwan's CPC cracker to be restarted by end of January 2016

According to market sources, CPC Corp in Taiwan has turnaround for its No. 4 cracker since first week of December 2016 and it is expected to restart by end of January 2016.

Based on the sources, CPC Corp is currently operating its No. 3 cracker at full rate while the residual fluid catalytic cracker (RFCC) at its Dalin refinery is running at approximately 80% operation rate.

Located in Linyuan, Taiwan, all the crackers have a total ethylene capacity of 1.08 million tons/year and 500,000 tons/year of propylene. Meanwhile, its RFCC unit has a propylene capacity of 450,000 tons/year.
