India's Haldia to restart HDPE/LLDPE unit

According to market sources, Haldia Petrochemicals Ltd (HPL) is planning to restart its HDPE/LLDPE plant by end of April 2017 after an unexpected shutdown.

Based in Haldia, eastern Indian state of West Bengal, the company has a 370,000 tons/year of HDPE/LLDPE swing plant. It has been shut since end of February 2017 after encountered technical glitches.
