Local PP and PE offers journey south in Malaysia

A major maker from Malaysia has announced its new offers for April 2017 delivery with a reduction of MYR230/ton ($52/ton) for homo-PP, MYR200/ton ($45/ton) for copolymer-PP and BOPP, MYR230/ton ($52/ton) for LDPE, MYR200/ton ($45/ton) for HDPE and no offers for LLDPE as compared to their latest offers end of last month, offers validity until 3 April 2017. Players attributed the price decreases toward weak market sentiment and slow demand.
