Major Thai cuts HDPE offers to China

Players from China market reportedly received $10/t reduction for Thailand’s HDPE film and yarn today to reach $1155/ton and $1165/ton respectively, all on a CFR China, LC at sight term, for shipment by mid of April.

A trader commented, “Although market sentiment in domestic China has improved, but import offers are still less competitive than local materials, hence price move weaker today. Meanwhile we also unable to achieve good sales for Thailand cargoes this week.”
