Indonesia's Polytama restarted PP unit after emergency shutdown

According to market sources, PT Polytama Propindo has successfully resumed the production of its PP plant since 1 March 2017 after encountered unexpectedly shutdown in end of February due to propylene (C3) supply disruption from Pertamina.
A source closed to the company informed that the production rate shall be ramping up gradually in the near term. Based in Balongan, Indonesia, The plant is designed to produce 380,000 ton/year of PP. However, under a tolling agreement with its main distributor, the plant is currently making 15,000 tons of PP per month.
