Thai producer rollover PP offers to Indonesia for four weeks straight

A major Thailand producer has announced fresh weekly offers for both PP and HDPE to Indonesia at unchanged levels compared to last week. This is the fourth consecutive week the maker rollover PP prices to Indonesia amid persistent weak demand in the country.

A buyer commented, “Domestic homo-PP yarn remains very competitive and local traders are offering discounts at the moment. Therefore, in order to conclude deal for this grade, we believe that the supplier needs to concede to large discount. Market is more interested in PP film cargoes as availability from local makers is tight.
