Indonesia's Asahimas postponed maintenance shutdown at VCM line

Market sources reported that Indonesia’s PT Asahimas Chemical has postponed the maintenance shutdown at its No.1 VCM unit to July 2017 from mid-February, due to a delay in the delivery of parts.
Based in Anyer, the line is able to produce 150,000 tons/year of VCM. Meanwhile, the shutdown schedule at the No. 3 VCM line and the 600,000 tons/year PVC line remain unchanged from the initial plan.
