Saudi major announced March delivery PE offers to Vietnam, Indonesia

A major Saudi Arabia PE producer has announced March delivery offers to Vietnam and Indonesia market with increases compared to last month. The range of the hike varied across the region with prices to Vietnam apparently higher than to Indonesia.

The producer’s price lists are shown in the following table:

A buyer received the new offers commented, “Vietnamese buyers might not be able to accept such large hike on HDPE film cargoes at the moment. There are still lower price cargoes available in the market with shorter shipping time. Our suppliers claimed to have very limited quantity this month amid low operation rate, hence they might attempt to hold firm on the offers.”
