Indonesian's PVC offered higher to Malaysia

Malaysian buyers today informed of receiving fresh PVC prices from a major Indonesian supplier with $50/ton increased from last month, to reach $940/ton CIF Malaysia, LC AS term. This is larger than the extent of price hike pioneered by Taiwanese major in the previous week.

A pipe converter in the country commented, “Despite larger increment than other suppliers, this offers are still among the most competitive one amongst Southeast Asian cargoes. Our supplier is very firm on their available parcels due to the upcoming maintenance shutdown has taken away all the sales pressure. We are planning to replenished some quantity.” The source also received Thai PVC offers at $955-960/ton and Korea PVC at $945/ton with the same term.
