Major Thai lifted HDPE offers to China

A major maker from Thailand has announced new offers today with an increased of $10/ton for HDPE film and yarn to reach $1210/ton and $1220/ton respectively, meanwhile maintaining stable offers for LLDPE film at $1280/ton as compared to last week, all on a CFR China, LC at sight term, for shipment by end of March.

A trader commented, “Our supplier informed that they have limited allocation for HDPE cargoes hence try to firm up prices according to current market trend, however, future market is weak today and we are not having confidence for our sales this week, as our customers might prefer to source on cautious basis from domestic market.”
