Thai's LDPE film moves higher in Vietnam

According to market source, a major Thailand producer has opened fresh LDPE film offers to Vietnam with $20/ton hike compared to last week to reach $1390/ton CIF Vietnam, LC AS term.

A distributor offer on behalf of the producer informed about the limited cargoes on hand due to the up-coming shutdown at the plant. A buyer received the offer commented, “There are not many new offers for LDPE film available in the market at the moment and we are negotiating with the supplier to make a small purchases. Domestic market is also running low on supply, from which we believed prices might continue to move higher in the coming days.”
