Taiwanese major lifted PVC offers for March

According to market sources, a major Taiwanese maker has announced March delivery offers for PVC to regional buyers with further price hike as compared to last month. The producer reportedly imposed $40/ton hike on offers to India at $1010/ton and $30/ton increased to Southeast Asia and China at $950/ton, all based on CIF, LC AS term. Export prices stand at $910/ton FOB Taiwan with the same payment term.

A distributor commented, “We are still waiting for feedback from customers but this round of price adjustments are within the market expectations, and with better sentiment in India, we believed that our supplier will not have much difficulties to conclude deals.”
