UPDATES: Thailand's PTT PE plants status

According to market sources, PTT Global Chemical (PTTGC) is going to shut its LDPE unit by end of March 2017 for a scheduled turnaround.

Based in Map Ta Phut, Thailand, the 300,000 tons/year LDPE unit is expected to remain off-stream for about 10-12 days. Meanwhile, its 400,000 tons/year LLDPE unit will also switched to produce metallocene grade (mLL) in March for about 2-3 weeks.
