Saudi major lifted PP, LLDPE prices to Vietnam

According to market sources, a major Saudi Arabia producer has announced new offers to Vietnam today with $10/ton increased on PP, LLDPE and LDPE film cargoes, while HDPE prices remain unchanged compared to last week.

Latest offers stand at $1230/ton for LLDPE film, $1190/ton for HDPE film, $1390/ton for LDPE film, $1150/ton for homo-PP yarn/injection, all based on CIF Vietnam, LC AS term.

The maker informed, “Our cargoes are prompt and due to limited availability, we decided to increase our offers.” Many buyers in the country, especially traders, are not very confident to accept the new price levels, however, it is heard that converters have proceeded with purchases of LLDPE film cargoes at $10/ton discount from initial prices.
