Thai major lifted HDPE offer to Vietnam

A major Thailand producer has re-opened new HDPE offers to Vietnam on the first trading day of the week at $1210/ton for blow moulding grade, some $15/ton increased compared to the pre-holiday period, based on CIF Vietnam, LC AS term.

A source close to the producer informed, “This is the remaining cargoes fro February delivery and the quantity is rather limited. We are still monitoring respond from buyers’ side, however, we might hold firm stance on our prices given the current upstream costs situation.”
