Singapore's HDPE film move north in Indonesia

According to Indonesian buyers, a major Singaporean producer has announced fresh HDPE film price to the country with $40/ton increased compared to initial offer from last month. Latest price stands at $1230/ton CIF Indonesia, LC AS term. The cargo is not subjected to any import duty.

Buyers however, are not responding very positively to the new offers, pointing to the availability of more competitive local cargoes. A converter commented, “The new offers from international makers are at the same level with local prices. Therefore, we decided to make replenishment from domestic traders.”
