Indonesia's Asahimas to shut PVC and VCM units for turnaround

According to market sources, PT Asahimas Chemical is planning to shut its VCM and PVC unit for a scheduled turnaround by first quarter of the year.
Based in Cilegon, Banten province of Indonesia, the 150,000 tons/year No.1 VCM unit will be shut on mid of February for a month, the 400,000 tons/year No. 3 VCM plant will be off for a month in April and the 600,000 tons/year PVC line will be off on beginning of March for 2 weeks and mid of April for a month.
