China's Fushun to conduct minor maintenance at PE unit

According to market sources, PetroChina Fushun Petrochemical Company has shut its new HDPE unit for a minor maintenance work on 23 February 2016.

Located at Fushun, Liaoning province, China, the new HDPE unit has an annual production capacity of 350,000 ton/year. The plant is expected to remain off-stream for approximately 10 days.

Meanwhile, its 140,000 ton/year old HDPE unit and 450,000 ton/year LLDPE unit are  operating at normal production rate.
