Saudi major open February offers to Vietnam

According to market sources, a major Saudi Arabia producer has announced February shipment offers to Vietnam today with increases compared to the final offers given in the past month.

Latest prices indicated $20/ton hike for HDPE film to reach $1170/ton while LLDPE film and homo-PP offers are up $30/ton month on month to reach $1200/ton and $1080ton respectively, all based on CIF Vietnam, LC AS term.

A distributor informed, “Due to some plant issues, we are having very limited cargoes this month and in fact there is no PP block copolymer available. We are gathering bids from buyers at the moment before concluding the prices.”
