Malaysia to ban heavy vehicles before and after Lunar New Year

According to the latest announcement from the Malaysia Road Transport Department (JPJ), there will be road ban imposed on certain categories of vehicles two days before and two days after the actually celebration of Lunar New Year days.

During these four days, vehicles that are totally banned on the road are low loader, concrete mixer truck, tipper, car carriers and similar weight truck. Lighter vehicle categories such as mobile cranes and container carries electronic/electric goods are still allowed to be on the road for defined hours.
