Major Thai lifted PE offers to China

A major producer from Thailand has announced new offers today with some adjustments compared to last week, with increased of $15/t for HDPE film and yarn at $1180/ton and $1190/ton respectively, $10/ton increased for LLDPE film to reach $1260/ton, while maintaining stable for LDPE film and heavy duty at $1360/ton and $1390/ton respectively all on a CFR China, LC at sight term.

A trader commented, “Our supplier still insisted to firm up their PE offers for LLDPE and HDPE but future market posted significant weak trend which are impacting the market sentiment today. We are not confidence about our sales this round, and lots of our customers have started to off for holidays soon. We are expecting for a slower trend approaching end of the week.”
