India's Reliance shuts PVC plant for maintenance
According to market sources, Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL) has shut its polyvinyl chloride (PVC) plant on 7 January 2017 for a scheduled turnaround.
Based in Hazira, the western Indian state of Gujarat, the PVC plant has a production capacity of 360,000 tons/year. It is expected to remain off-stream for 15 days.
