Taiwanese major announced February PVC prices

According to market sources, a major Taiwanese maker has announced February delivery offers for PVC to regional buyers at stable to firmer levels compared to last month. The producer reportedly implement $10/ton hike on cargoes to India at $970/ton while maintaining prices to Southeast Asia and China at $920/ton, all based on CIF, LC AS term. Export prices stand at $880/ton FOB Taiwan with the same payment term.

A distributor commented, “This month our principal supplier has full export allocation of 60,000 tons and it is compulsory that Indian traders must take 500 tons, therefore it is very likely that India market would take up regular quantity this month. We are monitoring market respond at the moment.”
