Thailand's SCG to restart LDPE unit from debottlenecking

According to market sources, Thai Polyethylene Co Ltd (TPE), a subsidiary of Siam Cement Group (SCG), is planning to restart its LDPE unit by end of February 2017.

Based in Map Ta Phut, Thailand, the LDPE unit has a production capacity of 100,000 tons/year. The unit has been shut since November last year for debottlenecking and the production capacity will be expand to 150,000 tons/year.
