Saudi's APC to halt operation at C3, PP plant in January

According to an official statement from Saudi’s Advanced Petrochemical Company (APC), the company is planning for a 10 days maintenance shutdown at its propylene and downstream PP plant starting 10 January 2017. Within the offline period, APC is expected to carry out proactive efficiency improvement activities at its plant.
Based in the city of Al-Jubail, APC carry nameplate capacity of 455,000 tons/year of propylene (C3) and 450,000 tons/year of PP. However, in its best condition, the plant can produce more than 500,000 tons/year of PP with additional C3 supply from external supplier.
