Saudi major lifted LLDPE, PP prices to Vietnam, limited allocation

Market sources reported that a major Saudi Arabia producer opened offers for LLDPE film and homo-PP yarn to Vietnam at $10/ton higher than last month, reaching $1180/ton and $1060/ton respectively. While several buyers are placing bids at well below the offered levels, the makers reportedly sold out available quantity, claiming lack of allocation.

A distributor informed, “Our supplier appears to have achieved better margins in other market. The quantity is very small due to the persistent plant issues. We think it is very likely that market would move firmer in the coming days.”
