Emergency shutdown at China's Shaoxing PP unit

According to market sources, Zhejiang Shaoxing Sanyuan Petrochemical Co Ltd has experienced unexpected shutdown on its PP (old) unit (PDH-based) since 1 January 2017 due to technical glitch.

Located at Zhejiang, China, the PP (old) unit has a production capacity of 200,000 tons/year. The company is planning to bring the plant on-stream around 9 January 2017.
