Saudi's Sadara to shut cracker and PE lines for maintenance

According to market sources, Sadara Chemical Company (Sadara) is planning to shut its cracker and PE units by 28 December 2016 for a scheduled turnaround.
The complex is a join venture between Saudi Aramco and US-based Dow Chemical that based in the city of Jubail, Saudi Arabia. The cracker is able to produce 1.5 million tons/year of ethylene and 400,000 tons/year of propylene, meanwhile the company also has a total production capacity of 1.1 million tons/year for PE units. The units are expected to be remain off-stream for 6 weeks.
