Saudi maker lifted LLDPE film prices to Vietnam

According to market sources, a major Saudi Arabia producer has announced new LLDPE film offers to Vietnam today with $40-50/ton increased from last week, reaching $1200/ton CIF Vietnam, LC AS term.

Buyers are not responding so well to the price lift considering more competitive local offers, while domestic traders are hoping to see support from firming international ground to boost local market. A trader said, “Acceptance for import prices near to $1200/ton mark might be very low at the moment. However, we do hope to see better demand condition in the near term given healthy purchasing activities in China.”
