Import carbide based PVC continue to move south in Malaysia

Malaysian buyer reported to have received new offers for Chinese carbide based PVC at $5-10/ton lower than last week to reach $840/ton CIF Malaysia, LC AS term today.

The source commented, “We purchased last week some cargoes, therefore we are not in rush to make additional buy this week. It appears that overall demand is not very strong which might pressure prices in the coming days.”
